The Conflict - newly released on Amazon

Let me tell you all about my two-set crime thriller: Harry's Secrets and The Conflict. Initially, the setting is based around two main families, before branching out like a spiders web, trapping more people as the story unfolds.

Stan Harris is the key player and wherever roads lead they all come back to him. One of his two sisters is living a life of hell and, so, too are her children. Her husband, Harry Brown is a violent drunk, and a no-good cheating low-life. The man has much to hide which all unfolds in 'Harry's Secrets,' the first of the two books.

Things can't go on and Stan is about to step in, taking matters into his own hands. What will he do? You can be sure it's nothing pleasant. A chain of events spirals from here. This is the day that everything changes. London's underworld will be rocked when Kyle Brown is introduced before being whisked off again for future use. When he returns, all hell breaks loose.

Deceit is rife and secrets which unfold little by little are going to destroy lives forever.

Harry's Secrets builds up to a gritty, gripping finale, but things don't end there.

The Conflict begins eighteen years later, and Stan is due for release after serving eighteen years in prison. The theft was secondary. The biggest crime in his eyes, being the betrayal. He thought he was in a circle of trust, how wrong could he be?

The con was due for release four years previously, but someone had other plans for him. What did they do and how can he avoid it this time? They are coming for him again, determined to never let him see the light of day.

For Stan freedom is less than twenty-four hours away. It is close, so close he can taste it. How can he avoid the inevitable and get out, back to where he left off? There is only one way. Stan will take his chances, after all, killing is all in a days work.

The most priceless thing known to man is outside waiting for him. It is so secret there was never any mention of it being stolen in the heist.
